I am a professional freelance translator of French, Russian and Spanish technical documents.

My qualifications

Having obtained a Bachelor degree in Modern Languages from Durham University (England), I went on to do a Master of Science degree in Scientific, Technical and Medical Translation at Imperial College, London, passing with Distinction. I also took the IOL Diploma in Translation, again passing with Distinction. In 2011, I became a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. I have been translating for agencies and end clients across Europe since 2004.

What I translate

I specialise primarily in medical, pharmaceutical and scientific translation, although I also have extensive experience in the legal and financial fields.

 

I am a member of the ITI and comply with the ITI Code of Conduct

 

I trained at Imperial College London

 

I am Trados Studio 2009 certified

What I don’t translate

As a native English speaker, I only translate into English. If you have a document that you require translating out of English, please contact me and I may be able to refer you to a suitable translator. Likewise, if you are not sure if your document falls within my areas of specialisation, I will be happy to take a look and refer you to another translator, if I cannot help.
